Great India

Deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, aetiology, embryology, digestion, metabolism, genetics and immunity is also found in many Indian texts.
  18. When many cultures were only nomadic forest dwellers over 5000 years ago, Indians established Harappan culture in the Sindhu (Indus) Valley Civilization.
  19. The place value system and the decimal system was developed in India in 100 BC.
  20. India is one of the few countries in the world which gained independence without violence.
  21. India has the second largest pool of scientists and engineers in the World.
  22. India is the only country other than the US and Japan to have built a supercomputer indigenously.
 The granite tower of Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur was completed in 1010 CE by Raja Raja Chola I.

  2. It was a spellbounding sight when you just see the grand tower of the Brihadeeswarar Temple in Thanjavur,it was a fantastic experience to think that Carl Sagan too walked through the temple corridors (shooting for the "Cosmos")and walk where Carl too have walked.
